Hutches and Runs for sale

Our aim is happy & healthy rabbits and guinea pigs living in the right accommodation for their needs. One of the biggest causes of ill health in rabbits and guinea pigs (after incorrect feeding) is accommodation which is not of an appropriate size. This causes problems such as back pain, muscle wasting, osteoporosis (softening of the bones) and depression. But, we know that its hard to find a decent hutch for your animal in the shops at an affordable price, so we decided to offer some new services to help alleviate this problem and raise some funds for the rescue.

We are pleased to be able to offer a range of second hand, refurbished hutches and runs for sale. These offer much better value than a brand new one but still have many years of life left in them! Green Fields Recommended Hutch
This hutch is by far the very best quality and value we have come across for the money. At 5 feet long x 2 and a half feet deep and with each level 2 feet high (taller on the top level due to the pitch of the roof) Its gives a fantastic space for 2 bunnies to live in very comfortably. It gives 10 feet by 5 feet of floor space but being double story it leaves a foot print of 5 x 2.5. so this is the perfect solution for those who may not have room to house their bunnies in a shed or wendy house conversion in their garden. With an added run it would be bunny heaven! Green Fields Rescue has 2 of these hutches at the rescue so that you can see for yourself the fantastic build quality and practical design for yourself. The hutch is made from dipped and pressure treated shiplap and is of such solid quality it will easily last your bunnies entire 10-12 year lifespan. Best of all, this hutch can be made especially for Green Fields Rescue at a brilliant price of just £250! Orders can be placed here at the rescue and the hutch will be delivered to your door by courier for a delivery fee of £35. The hutch arrives in panels which are really really simple to assemble. Lorna isnt know for being handy with power tools but even she can manage this on her own! It comes with every easy to follow instructions.

Second Hand Hutch
This hutch is really ideal for 2 guinea pigs or perhaps as a short term holiday home for a pair of little bunnies. It is NOT suitable for long term rabbit housing. The hutch part sits on top of the run which is accessed via a ramp with rungs for easier grip going up and down. In great condition. £50 ono

Refurbishment Services

If your animals hutch or run needs some TLC, we are happy to do this for you. It might save you the cost of getting a new or bigger one. If needed we could even build an extension/second floor to the hutch or join another one to it.

What will it cost?

Less than a new hutch that’s for sure!

The cost will vary depending on the work required but we will just charge you for the materials and then ask for a donation to the rescue for our time. We can give you a quote before hand if you email us a photo and a description of what you would like done. If it wont fit in your car, we can pick up and collect it for you in a van for an additional donation or may even be able to carry out the work at your home.
