Our mission: Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome

We operate without discrimination, prejudice or judgement

We are not here to judge people who bring their animals into our rescue or rehome animals from our rescue. As long as you are acting in the best interests of the animal, then you are ok with us.

We will also not discriminate for or against taking in certain breeds of animal, certain characteristics or those that are “easier” to rehome. Every animal is equal in our eyes and we maintain a no destroy policy. We will never euthanize a healthy animal.

We will act first and always in the very best interests of the animals in our care

We aim to do so without compromise.

We promote education and clear communication

We want to educate ourselves so we can pass it on. We are constantly learning the wonders of the animals we care for. We don’t claim to be experts, and if you have some advice or information for us…..please tell us!

We support the RSPCA’s “Five Freedoms”

  1. FREEDOM FROM HUNGER AND THIRST.
  2. FREEDOM FROM DISCOMFORT.
  3. FREEDOM FROM PAIN, INJURY OR DISEASE.
  4. FREEDOM TO EXPRESS NORMAL BEHAVIOUR.
  5. FREEDOM FROM FEAR AND DISTRESS.

We will report abuse or suspected mistreatment of animals and co-operate fully with the police and RSPCA to pursue prosecutions of those who abuse animals.
