Jo Oliver - Administration Assistant
Jo is longest serving volunteer, being the first to join us in 2003. It quickly became obvious that Jo and Lorna made a formidable and highly efficient team and she now assists the rescue on so many levels its almost impossible to list them all!
Despite working full time, Jo manages to find time to look after her own 5 rescued rabbits (Charlie and Bella, Chinny, Jasper and Alberta as well as Piglet & Floss, the newest addition to the family), 4 loopy cats, a group of rescued Gerbils (headed by Gerbilina the Gerbil) and 4 rescued rats. On top of that, Jo has a Green Fields Rescue foster cabin at her home so usually has an additional resident bunny or two in need of longer term rehabilitation. Jo lives with her husband Neil( a member of Jamies "Tuesday night mountain biking club") in Fleet. They got engaged in December 2005 whilst on holiday with Lorna and Jamie in Antigua.
Jo has also just opened her own holiday boarding facilities from her home. Green Fields rescue offers holiday boarding to raise funds for the rescue but it is so popular that we are often fully booked.
